The Verba magazine was created as a way to connect with other writers who have a passion for words. Our aim is to create honest, raw and edgy pieces that colour our contemporary world, of love, relationships and life, with features from Black British Artists. In this issue the theme is 21st Century Love. The writers featured in this piece, give their account of what it means to find love, and who should always be your first love.
The 02 issue is a Black History month special, which explores transformation, what we recognize as iconic, and the musical influence of Bob Marley.
Issue 03- 2020 Vision, explores the journey of 2020. A time that increased our awareness for the need of more self-love, being forced to recognize our fears, our individuality and our losses at a time when our world went through a global pandemic. Heightening our awareness, forcing us to have those uncomfortable conversations to develop more of an understanding of not only ourselves but the people around us, to make the world a better place.
